Scott Gooderham lives and breathes property and as the Managing Director of Minyama-
based property specialists Adams and Jones, he is passionate about sharing his extensive
knowledge and experience which started when he would follow his father onto building
sites as a toddler.
“Mum would say I just loved spending time with my dad out on building sites when I was a
small child and I’d try to help out wherever I could, I loved it. I guess you could say that the
building industry is in my veins,” he said.
At just 15 years of age Scott saved up enough money to purchase his first property in
Toowoomba and this was soon followed by an apartment which he rented out to University
Scott moved to the Sunshine Coast to undertake his apprenticeship with local builder Trevor
Dunemann who was the principal contractor to Collins Food Group. This exposed Scott to
building numerous commercial projects such as service stations, fast food outlets and large
retail complexes throughout Queensland. This was followed by stints with John Blanck at Bli
Bli Nominees and Forrester Kurtz where he was the project supervisor and contact
administrator for a number of projects including the ANZAC Square Building in Brisbane and
the Mooloolaba International.
With this broad range of experience, Scott then undertook many of his own building
developments in the residential, commercial and Industrial sectors.
"From that very first acquisition as a 15 year old in my home town of Toowoomba, I
understood the value of property and the power of investment. It's a lifelong learning that
I've been able to put into practice and then assist others achieve their financial goals,” Scott
Adams and Jones currently have three offices in Queensland with Head office based on the
Nicklin Way at Minyama, with branch offices in Emerald and Brisbane. With over 20 staff
currently employed across all offices, Scott is continuing to expand the business in these
strong growth areas within Queensland.

and residential properties in four of Queensland’s key growth markets. We’ve also got a
great team behind us who have years of experience in sales and leasing as well as

residential developments,” Scott said.
Leisa Parsons -Young is a recent addition to the Adams and Jones Sunshine Coast team and
after spending more than a decade running her own real estate agency she was delighted to
join the team.
